My early performance days consisted of putting together productions with my sisters and neighbors in the playroom to show our parents. Lights, sound, and costume changes in full swing. In high school I started taking theatre seriously and ultimately pursued acting to get a B.A in performance from UNC Charlotte. I was fortunate to also explore costuming, scenic design, stage makeup, and production. This allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the production process from start to finish.

Training in ensemble-based physical theatre and mask work during undergrad introduced me to the world of circus arts. After graduating, I decided to further this training and moved to Chicago to attend the Actor’s Gymnasium Professional Circus Training Program. In the post-covid world, I began taking stage combat classes at the Actor’s Gym and continued studying until I became an advanced actor combatant with the SAFD. Ever since, I have assisted stage combat classes with the Actors Gymnasium, Open Gate Movement Arts, and Roosevelt University. In seeking to know more, I’ve studied a variety of martial arts practices and regularly attend regional stage combat workshops. Through the connections I made I began training stunts with the Chicago community and work on implementing all I’ve learned.

I am an actor, movement professional, fight choreographer, circus artist, designer, and stunt performer. I consistently work to grow and practice my skill set with the goal of making impactful art through heightened physicality.
